Jim Henson’s genius shines through, in this tribute to Charles Dickens. \u00a0 The “muppet” version, a product of Disney, outshines the 2011 3D Jim Carrey version\u00a0\/ Disney version. \u00a0A\u00a0superior product in technical quality, and truer to the original script, the Carrey version is inferior by far to Michael Caine as Scrooge, and Kermit as Bob Cratchet.<\/p>\n

The Nightmare Before Christmas<\/h2>\n

Jack Skellington delivers an A+ performance as he struggles to understand his role in the Christmas holiday.<\/p>\n

Ernest Saves Christmas<\/h2>\n

Ernest P Worrel, the unwitting hero, finds himself in the position of having to save Santa.<\/p>\n

Scrooged<\/h2>\n

“Put a little love in your heart”. \u00a0A cold TV exec gets the Dickens treatment. \u00a0With Bill Murray as the subject, this movie is funny and emotional.<\/p>\n

Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer<\/h2>\n

Childhood classic. \u00a0The reject becomes the hero.<\/p>\n

Christmas Vacation<\/h2>\n

National Lampoon does it again, and best of the franchise. \u00a0Clark and his brood try to “make Christmas”, and find in the process that Christmas was there, all along. \u00a0“SQUIRREL!!”<\/p>\n

Possibly the best of the worst Christmas movies, the story about Kate’s dad is the WORST CHRISTMAS STORY, EVER.<\/p>\n
